To turn on your Wi-Fi card on a MacBook Pro, click the Wi-Fi icon in the upper right corner of the menu bar and select "Turn Wi-Fi On." If the icon is not visible, you can also go to System Preferences > Network, select Wi-Fi from the list on the left, and click "Turn Wi-Fi On."
